ACHIEVEMENTS

A dream developed into an idea and an international organisation was born to drive change through a community of people with lived experience at the center of discussions and decision-making.

100% Lived Experience Organisation,
Over to 140 Lived Experience Representatives,
Close to 40 Countries and
1 Voice

Our growth has been PHENOMINAL

The idea for establishing the GMHPN developed in 2017 when the now Founder/CEO, Charlene Sunkel took a dream and conceptualized a strategy to make that dream come true. In February of 2018, the GMHPN was officially launched and on 1 January 2019 commenced full operations.

The growth since, has been and continue to be phenomenal!

Our lived experience representation increased by 400%; where the majority of our representatives are female and within the age group of 18-34 yrs; we cover across diverse demographics, from high to low income settings; and the larges representation is from the African continent.

Our Sub-Committees help to ensure that the voices of youth, women, LGBTQ and other marginalized communities are not distorted or left behind.
